Half-Day Sports Academy Program

Our half-day Sports Academy Program lets campers really concentrate on their choice of baseball, soccer, or basketball. Campers will enjoy their academy choice for two weeks in the morning with our traditional camp program and club electives in the afternoon.

Professional Coaches from some Long Island's finest areas visit Robin Hood for one week each to instruct our campers in basketball, baseball, football, soccer, and lacrosse. This enhances our alrady excellent sports program.

Programming for Nursery through Grade One

Our caring and nurturing environment is ideal for our youngest campers. A sports specialist will work with our mini-nursery, nursery, kindergarten and first grade groups, building skills in all areas of sports.
We have established an outstanding reputation in early childhood education by operating one of the best nursery schools on Long Island for the past 50 years.

Swimming

Not one or two heated pools – three!

  • Each pool is designed and reserved for a specific age group
  • A waterslide at every pool
  • A swim director dedicated to each location
  • One instructional swim and one recreational swim daily
  • Children assigned by age and swim skill level, following American Red Cross standards
  • On very hot days – even more pool time!

Special Events

In addition to the regular day camp program, our campers enjoy special events such as Wacky Wednesday, Pirate Day, Pajama Day, Crazy Hat Day, Circus Theme Day, Carnival Days and Cookout Days. The camp comes together daily and on special event days for a campwide revile and songfest. At the end of the summer, campers in Nursery through grade 5 participate in our exciting Goodwill Games.
