Counselors:

Our counselors work in a group along with a Group Leader as immediate supervisor. Each counselor is in charge of a “team.” A team consists of approximately 7-8 campers (depending on the age group).

Group Leaders:

Our group leaders are certified teachers and each is responsible for an entire group. A group can consist of approximately 30 children. Group leaders follow a program outlined for them. They also must communicate frequently with parents, who love to know how their child is doing at camp.

Specialist:

A specialist is in charge of a specialty area such as Arts and Crafts, Music, Ropes, Gymnastics, Archery, Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, Tennis, Lacrosse, Flag Football and European Handball. They also follow a program outlined for the special area. We look for young men and women who are both highly skilled in the given activities, and energetically engaged in life. We are always looking to expand our activities, so if you are good at something that is not on the activities list, let us know!

One of the most important aspects of being a counselor concerns the relationships you have with the campers.  You will spend their summer days with them, playing, teaching and motivating them --  so we seek excellent role models. One of the most important questions we ask is, "If I were a parent, would I want my own child to be influenced by this applicant?"

If you feel you meet these criteria, please download and complete the staff application form.
